I spent yesterday afternoon strolling through Brooklyn with my cousin T. from Chicago. We talked about everything from business and money, to religion and marriage. He shared with me what marriage means to him. And why his wife is HIS WIFE.

There are a few questions that I would’ve loved to ask him, but time flies when you’re having fun. So instead I  asked a few guys I know questions about making their relationship work when problems arise.

What would you do if you couldn’t buy your wife/girlfriend anything for their birthday?

I would make her Queen for a day. She wouldn’t have to do a thing.

I would be her slave all week.

I would prepare a really good meal at home and have one of my friends come over and serve us as if we were at a nice restaurant.

Say you’re sorry even if you didn’t do anything.

You gotta say sorry. That’s all that they wanna hear.
